The Dechsendorfer Weiher is a popular excursion destination and recreational area in western Erlangen. It is part of a larger pond system that extends across the entire Aischgrund region. There is also a campsite located directly on the lake. The natural pool is particularly attractive in summer, and a short canoe trip is also fun thanks to the Boat rental.
