We start our tour at the edge of the Meilwald At the Atzelsberger Steige, heading east. From here, we reach the "Towel Meadow," where we pass a beautiful playground and some exercise equipment. Afterward, we head north. After a short break on a bench with a view toward Spardorf, we continue north toward Marloffsteiner Höhe, past the clay pit with a panoramic view of the Franconian Switzerland. Now we turn left to Adlitz, passing a small, picturesque field chapel. Beer garden “Zur Ludwigshöhe” Once we arrive, we can fortify ourselves with a refreshing drink and a hearty snack. Our next stop to the east takes us past the swan ponds and the Fairytale PondLocated above the fairytale pond there is a idyllic little springwhere you can cool your feet. Once we have crossed this small forest section, Atzelsberg welcomes us with its peaceful and rural village scenery. Atzelsberger Beer Garden, situated under lush trees and right next to the romantic castle, invites you to take another rest. Now we head south towards the "Rathsberger HöheOnce there, we keep to the right and enter the Meilwald forest again. At a small clearing, we have a wonderful view to the Huguenot town. We continue westward and stroll down the hill until we arrive back in Erlangen at the edge of Rudelsweiherstraße. A small highlight here is the so-called Platenhäuschen and the water towerVia the Pfaffweg we reach our last stop, the Release KellerThere we will end our hike with Franconian delicacies in one of the most beautiful places in Erlangen.
