On the occasion of the Erlangen Spring Festival at the castle square Numerous shops will open their doors, combining the last day of the Easter holidays with a special shopping experience. Between Martin-Luther-Platz, the southern section of Werner-von-Siemens-Straße, the train station, and Bohlenplatz, visitors can expect a varied day for the whole family.

Spring, festive atmosphere and relaxed shopping: On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the city center of Erlangen invites you to a Sunday shopping event from 13:00 to 18:00.
The Spring Festival at the Castle Square The area around the city center itself creates a fairground atmosphere. Stalls offering sweet and savory specialties invite visitors to indulge across more than 2.000 square meters. In addition, there are classic fairground attractions such as a swing boat, a children's carousel, a puppet show, face painting, and other rides and games for children. A beer garden with live music also offers the opportunity to take a break and enjoy the lively spring atmosphere.
