KREUZ+QUER - Haus der Kirche Erlangen

The KREUZ+QUER is a former German Reformed church, whose foundation stone was laid in 1728. After extensive renovations in 2016, the imposing building now serves as a light-filled event venue. The entire building is wheelchair accessible and equipped.

Four conference rooms ranging in size from 25 to 265 square meters, as well as foyers on the ground and upper floors, are available. The bright and welcoming color scheme makes KREUZ+QUER a place with a feel-good atmosphere.

All rooms combine impressive architectural tradition with modern furnishings of the highest standard. Our flexible equipment ranges from seating, lighting, and sound systems to electronic networking.

St. Catherine's Hall

The bright Baroque Hall is equipped with state-of-the-art media technology, a microphone system, and blackout blinds. A stage can be set up upon request, and the furnishings are flexible. A bright foyer and a separate catering area are located in front of the hall.

Parking

The parking garages and underground car parks around Erlangen's city center offer free parking at any time of day. From there, shops, restaurants, and cultural institutions can be easily reached on foot or by taking the free buses in the city center.

Arriving by car

From the A73 motorway, take the Erlangen-Zentrum exit. Follow Werner-von-Siemens-Straße, after about 1,2 km turn left onto Henkestraße, and then immediately right onto Waldstraße. At the third street, turn left onto Bohlenplatz. Address: Bohlenplatz 1, 91054 Erlangen

Arriving by train

Erlangen train station is located about one kilometer from KREUZ+QUER, Haus der Kirche (House of the Church). Erlangen is a stop for ICE (Intercity Express), IC (InterCity), RE (Regional Express), and S-Bahn (S1).

Arrival by plane

Nuremberg Airport is approximately 15 km from the center of Erlangen. Taxis are available at the airport. The U2 subway line provides direct connections from the airport to Nuremberg Central Station. From there, it's about a 1-minute train ride (S14 or RE 20) to Erlangen. Bus lines 299/293/289 from Erlangen Central Station (stop: Erlangen, Krankenhausstraße) or bus lines 294, 285, and 284 (Obere Karlstraße).

For small events, we are happy to provide you with cold and hot drinks as well as a selection of baked goods through our in-house catering. 

For hot meals or larger events, you are welcome to commission a catering company of your choice. The KREUZ+QUER service team will be happy to assist you in finding the right caterer for your event.
