Bürgerpalais Stutterheim

1728-1730 based on designs by Wenzel Perner for District Administrator Christian Hieronymus von Stutterheim Built. Between 1836 and 1971, the building was used as the town hall. Besides the library The magnificent palace now houses the Art Palace with the municipal collection. The town hall and the courtyard can be rented for events.

  • When renting the inner courtyard, the beautiful foyer in the entrance area, decorated with stucco, can be used for champagne receptions, for example.

Citizens Hall

The Citizens' Hall on the second floor exudes a festive atmosphere with its stucco ceiling and chandeliers. It can be reached via a staircase or elevator.

A catering kitchen is directly adjacent to the Bürgersaal.

A Kawai grand piano is available in the Bürgersaal and can be used outside of the city library's opening hours.

Inner courtyard of Palais Stutterheim with seating

The high inner courtyard with its glass roof is located in the middle of the old building on the ground floor. This blend of old and new exudes a special atmosphere.

The inner courtyard is equipped with an integrated loudspeaker system and is easily accessible via a barrier-free side entrance from the main street.

Note: Earliest start of the event in the courtyard is 19 p.m.

Palais Stutterheim is located directly in Erlangen's city center, on the central market square. Erlangen Central Station is just a few minutes' walk away. Numerous parking spaces for cars and buses are available in the large parking lot (Parkplatzstraße).
