myCityHunt turns Erlangen into your playground and offers you the opportunity to explore Erlangen on your own – without any time pressure!
All you need is a smartphone with mobile data and a ticket. Tickets are valid for six months after purchase, so you can redeem them on any date. You also have complete flexibility in terms of timing—start whenever you want and take breaks as you please.
Once you've gathered at the meeting point at Hugenottenplatz, you'll first assign special roles. Who will be your team leader and guide you to must-sees in the city? Who will be your motivator, inspiring you to achieve your best? And who will be your photographer, capturing your best poses?
Then it all begins! The web app will guide you through Erlangen's city center to various sights. Once you arrive, a variety of tasks will not only test your team spirit and expert knowledge – they will also present you with ever-changing challenges that you must overcome together. To add even more excitement, each participant will receive special tasks via text message tailored to their specific role. If you manage to successfully complete enough of our activity, photo, and multiple-choice tasks, you can immortalize yourself in the online high score.
