Erlangen Castle Garden Concerts

The Erlangen Palace Garden Concerts are among the most popular open-air concerts in Franconia and are an integral part of Erlangen's cultural program. Every year, from Mother's Day until well into the summer, the baroque palace gardens are transformed into an atmospheric stage for live music under the open sky.

The concert series traditionally starts on Mother's Day Sunday at 11 a.m. and subsequently invites the public to musical matinees on selected Sundays. The venue is the historic Orangery im Castle Garden – one of the most beautiful baroque settings in Northern Bavaria.

In front of the Margrave's Palace, surrounded by ancient trees and expansive green spaces, a special atmosphere is created that blends architecture, nature, and music. A concert can be ideally combined with a stroll through the city or a visit to a café in Erlangen's city center.

The Schlossgarten concert program stands for musical diversity and quality.
