What unites the Nägelhof team? Undoubtedly, a deep connection to agriculture. Owner and founder Hubert Nägel grew up on his parents' farm in Erlangen-Büchenbach, and therefore two things remain important to him: first, knowing where his food comes from, and second, maintaining a respectful approach to the environment, nature, and animals. These important principles led to the decision to return to his roots – to Nägelhof.
At “NÄGEL'S HOFLADEN” customers can expect honest, regional and handcrafted food, wines as well as a select collection of accessories and gift items.
In the adjoining “NÄGEL'S HOFBISTRO” and café, experienced chefs conjure up a variety of seasonal delicacies and homemade cakes every day (Tuesday to Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 20 p.m.
At "NÄGEL'S HOFMETZGEREI" (NÄGEL'S HOFMETZGEREI), you'll find a fine selection of meat and sausages from Thursday to Saturday. They serve quality meat from Schwäbisch Hall Landschwein (Swabian Hall pigs), pasture-fed beef from controlled breeding and rearing, and game from their own hunting grounds.
Every Saturday there is a fruit and vegetable market, which is to be further developed and expanded into a farmers' market.
