Here, you can enjoy the company of six temple tigers while sampling our vegan menu. Whether breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, or desserts, our dishes will win you over with their flavor.
To achieve this, we rely on a creative combination of sustainable ingredients. For example, our spelt bread, which we bake fresh every morning, is made from 100% organic flour produced for us by a local farmer. Our guacamole is also something special: It uses peas as a base instead of avocados, thus creating a smaller ecological footprint than conventional guacamole.
Vinzenz Knabe runs the Katzentempel in Erlangen. The young entrepreneur warmly invites every guest to sample the variety of vegan dishes at his restaurant and enjoy the special feel-good atmosphere.
The Erlangen Cat Temple is barrier-free, has 70 seats, a glass roof and a summery courtyard to which the cats also have access.
