Mauro Sindaco has made a name for himself as a warm and versatile host. This makes him the heart of his restaurant, which he gave its distinctive name. At just ten years old, the current owner knew he would one day find his calling in the restaurant industry. While studying economics, he worked for several years at the restaurant "Galileo." He also spent a year in Australia, where he was particularly inspired by Melbourne's cool dining concepts. In 2019, Mauro Sindaco opened his own restaurant—the "Heartpiece"—in the heart of Erlangen.
Out of the box – that describes the "Herzstück" restaurant quite well. The managing director's vision is to create added value that sets it apart from traditional restaurants. The result is an extraordinary place where everyone can feel at home and time flies.
The creative breakfast in the morning is presented without a buffet, something different, guaranteed without the monotony of sausage and cheese. In the evening, Mediterranean fusion cuisine is the order of the day – regional and seasonal, with flavors from around the Mediterranean. High-quality ingredients, including Oriental and Provençal, Andalusian and Sicilian, Cretan and Moroccan, are lovingly prepared by hand to the highest standards. The exciting wine selection is carefully selected and regularly personally tested for quality by the team. It's not just regional and Franconian, but also offers fine wines from Europe's diverse and beautiful corners.
