Erlangen Arcaden

Since 2007, the spacious "Erlangen Arcaden" has housed 95 shops, cafés, and restaurants in a light-filled, 300-meter-long, three-story shopping street that invites you to stroll. They offer a retail space of almost 31.000 square meters and delight 32.000 visitors daily with their diverse offerings.
A variety of events, enriching service offerings, and creative promotions round out an attractive shopping experience. Another plus: the on-site parking garage offers 660 bright and spacious parking spaces. These allow you to quickly stow your shopping loot in the trunk after your shopping, allowing you to take one last look at the culinary offerings of the cafés, bistros, and restaurants in the glass-roofed mall. Two years after its opening, the Society for Consumer Research confirmed through a study that the “Erlangen Arcaden” did not operate at the expense of the city center, but rather that they were mutually reinforcing.
