Entla's Keller

Opening hours

1 April to 30 September
Tuesday till Sunday, on public holidays: 11:00AM till 11:00PM

If a Monday falls on a public holiday we are open

Our beer cellar on Erlanger Berg invites you to linger over a cool liter of beer all summer long. We offer a selection of beers brewed in our own brewery on the hill, as well as wheat beers, shandy, and non-alcoholic beverages. For your culinary enjoyment, we serve Schäufele (pork shoulder), duck, chicken, Emmental cheese matured in our cellar, pretzels, delicious vegetarian options, and much more.

And the other senses are also catered to: on the first Thursday of every month, the ears are treated to music, a cool breeze from the beer cellars makes you forget the heat of the city, and the green of the trees brings peace to the eyes and the whole person.

For a special sensory experience, guided cellar tours take place every Sunday at 11 a.m. A warm invitation is extended to all!

Vincenz Schiller - Entla's Keller Erlangen

What is your connection to Erlangen?

I was born here.

What fascinates you most about beer?

With just four raw ingredients you can create countless flavor explosions.

What brought you into the catering industry and how long have you been running your brewery?

I was born into the restaurant business, so to speak. Our cellar is now run by the third generation, and since 3 we've also been brewing our own beers here through Entla's Bräu.

What is special about your beer garden?

Our Entla's Keller is located directly on the "Berch," perhaps the most beautiful spot in Erlangen. Perched above the city, you have a fantastic view and can enjoy your beer in the nature, surrounded by trees!

Whether painter or businessman, ladies or gentlemen, young or old - the whole city meets up here with us.

The special highlight is our cellar tours through the labyrinth of corridors inside the mountain. And, of course, our brewery, located within the mountain.

Can you describe Entla's Keller in three words?

The oasis of Erlangen
