Since there was no skate shop in the Huguenot city until 2011, the two passionate board riders Matthias Welker and Andi Nahrhaft ensured that this gap was filled. Their success with their "board shop" on Obere Karlstraße was naturally aided by the fact that they have both been passionate skaters for many years. Their fascination for the sport also inspires their young customers, because "this feeling can only be conveyed through personal contact and in-depth consultation."
Their offering is so unique because they have developed their own label with their diverse experience and—as the name suggests—they handcraft the boards in their own workshop, offering comprehensive service along with them. This naturally elevates each skateboard to a unique and distinctive piece.
It goes without saying that proper skateboarding also requires the right outfit. And here, too, every skateboarding enthusiast is sure to find the right gear. Cool and, of course, comfortable shirts and long-sleeved shirts with the unmistakable "Bretterbude" label, as well as other brands that accommodate every energetic movement, are also available here.
