This varied road bike tour in the east of Erlangen leads along nature reserves, through the Knoblauchsland region, as well as through forests and idyllic Franconian villages.
The tour starts at the Tourist information near the train station in Erlangen and continues along the nature reserve Brucker Lache to Tennenlohe. The Forest Experience Center and the sculpture garden invite you to take a detour. After crossing the A3 motorway, you reach the Knoblauchsland. Garlic Land is one of the largest contiguous vegetable growing areas in Bavaria and encompasses the center of the Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen triangle. Passing numerous fields, the route continues via Neunhof along the Tennenloher Forest to KalcreuthThe tour continues through numerous idyllic Franconian villages to Neunkirchen am Brand and finally back to Erlangen.
