After its reopening in May 2017, the Westbad swimming pool shines in new splendor. From the 10-meter diving platform, daredevils can plunge into the new 4,70-meter-deep diving pool, equipped with a porthole. A sports pool, a non-swimmer pool, and a paddling pool, a sunbathing lawn, a wooden deck, and a beautiful playground with a sunshade complete the bathing experience. The Westbad's pool complex extends over several levels, all of which are wheelchair accessible. Extensive relaxation and play areas extend into the greenery of the Regnitz meadows. Beach volleyball and table tennis are also available.
The state-of-the-art indoor pool with a 25-meter pool and wellness area features a swimmers' pool and a teaching pool, a spacious toddler area, a Vitality Box with a steam bath, a clothed sauna, and a relaxation zone, as well as family-friendly changing rooms and restrooms. Our tip for the winter season is the Kids' Action Afternoon – every Sunday from 13 p.m. to 15 p.m., children are the center of attention at the indoor pool. They can splash around, run around, and play ball, and no one is allowed to scold them except the water supervisor.
The hall in the Westbad is only open during the autumn/winter season.
