17 bronze Large sculptures The Erlangen artist's works are exhibited there: In the upper, park-like area, the older, less monumental figures are exhibited, while the steeper, lower area is dominated by ten monumental sculptures from the last years of the artist's life. Kirchner's works deal directly or indirectly with the relationship Man and Nature apart.

In the north of the city, the Erlangen Castle Hill rises to a height of 332 metres, on whose southern slope the Heinrich Kirchner Sculpture Garden has been located since 1982 – unique in that it is dedicated to the work of a single artist.
