Parking fees in Erlangen
The city of Erlangen's public parking fees in the city center are one euro for the first half hour, with each additional hour costing €2,60 per hour or €1,30 per half hour. The fee for the large parking lot is €1,50 per hour.
Payment is made via a parking meter or, alternatively, via an app. With "mobilet," this has been possible throughout the city since 2023. Mobile parking also offers other advantages. For example, parking time can be extended at any time while on the move, making your stay even more relaxing.
To do this, download the "mobilet.deDownload the app for free from the App Store or Play Store. After successful registration, enter your credit card details in the "Finances" section. You can access this via the wallet icon in the dashboard. Alternatively, you can top up your prepaid account using all common payment methods via the "Top Up Credit" function. Free public transport in the city center
Since 1 January 2024, you can travel within the city centre free bus – including the City Line 299, which connects the large parking lot, parking garages, and central destinations. Conveniently park your car on the outskirts of the city or in one of the parking garages and transfer stress-free to the free local public transport system. Ideal for locals and visitors alike!
