Player partnership between Antonio Metzner and City management sealed

City Management (CM) and the Erlangen Tourism and Marketing Association (ETM) are entering into a player partnership with HC Erlangen handball professional Antonio Metzner. The goal is to demonstrate Erlangen's attractiveness through various joint advertising measures.

Negotiations have been going on behind the scenes for some time, and now it is official: Antonio Metzner and City Management Erlangen sealed their partnership at the beginning of December. This development was part of the continued cooperation between HC Erlangen, City Management (CM) and the Erlangen Tourism and Marketing Association (ETM). The common goals of the partnership are to increase awareness of Erlangen as a tourist destination and further position Erlangen in the tourism industry. Key elements include the integration of the "Visit Erlangen" tourism logo in combination with numerous marketing campaigns by HCE in collaboration with Antonio Metzner. To convince visitors and guests of Erlangen's attractiveness, ETM, which is located in the same building as CM, is developing a target group-oriented thematic marketing campaign. Four areas are represented: Culture, Shopping City Erlangen, Active & Nature and culinary delightsTogether with Antonio Metzner, CM and ETM will address topics from this area with various campaigns via the key media channels and bring Erlangen and its many attractive aspects closer to users. Antonio Metzner deliberately chose HC Erlangen two years ago because he felt very comfortable with the club and the city from the very first moment. "On my first visit here in Erlangen, I fell in love with the pretty, small streets with the cozy cafés," says Antonio Metzner. He is therefore an ideal partner to optimally represent Erlangen as a location. Both CM, ETM and the likeable player are looking forward to the collaboration.
