The Erlangen teahouse is firmly in the hands of three sisters: In 2016, Tina Dennert took over the café from her cousin, shortly thereafter, her sister Simone Stingl joined the team, and recently, the youngest, Anna-Lena, joined the team. Also indispensable is her employee, Domi, who has called the teahouse his second home for two decades.
It's no wonder, then, that visitors are drawn back to the teahouse time and time again. Five distinct and super cozy café rooms, as well as a charming inner courtyard, invite you to enjoy a delicious breakfast, tasty snacks, or even hot meals from a changing weekly and seasonal menu. In addition to the wide breakfast and lunch menu, visitors can choose from around 100 types of tea. The menu at this popular teahouse in the old town features a wide variety of teas, from green to herbal and fruit teas to fine rooibos and black teas. The dishes are primarily prepared with seasonal produce. In autumn, for example, there's a lot to do with pumpkin, while in spring, asparagus is often on the menu.
