Born and raised in Erlangen, I soon set my sights on the world: After extended stays in Australia and South Africa, I studied communications in Munich. Back in Erlangen, I discovered my interest in history in general and my hometown of Erlangen in particular, where I have lived again since 1993.
I met so many very different people who influenced me, who inspired me, and who changed my outlook on life. It always gives me great joy to show visitors to Erlangen, newcomers, or simply the curious "my Erlangen" and share some of the many wonderful stories about Erlangen with them.
